How to diagnose and determine Aging Male Syndrome

Diagnose:

A good physical examination is the best way to first diagnose and also a good physician should be able to find many of the common symptoms.Psychological evaluation is also very helpful in diagnosing the aging male syndrome.Psychiatrist should check the conditions and introduce a patient with his symptoms and a possible treatment.

Determine:

A test can be conducted to determine the level of testosterone that is in the body. This test is usually performed in the morning and is a simple blood test. This test gets a little hard to determine because its difficult to know if the values got on the test are low or not as the level of testosterone is different for each man.

Treatment for Aging Male Syndrome:

  • Unfortunately there aren’t many treatment options but there are still several ways to treat low testosterone levels. Some of the natural ways are acupuncture, naturopathy and herbology. There is also the hormone replacement therapy but this therapy has not been very safe or effective.
  • Injections or shots are one of the effective forms to increase testosterone which should be given every week or ones in two to three weeks.
  • Testosterone Buccal System is very easy to use.A person needs to place a tablet in the upper gum area of the mouth and should not be chewed or swallowed. This tablet sticks to the gum or cheek and stays there for 12 hours. It releases testosterone into the body.
  • Gel should be applied everyday to the skin on the shoulders, upper arms, and abdomen. A regular use of the gel maintains a balanced amount of testosterone in your body.
