Men do get into many habits and lifestyle patterns that can have disastrous effects on their health system. If habits or lifestyle patterns are not curtailed at the right time, it can lead to a lot of distress in an individual.

The effects of these lifestyle patterns may be apparent only after a certain period of time. Men sometimes due to delay of these effects can be careless and also carry on with their irregular habits and the lifestyle patterns.

  • Smoking:

  • In spite of the disastrous effects smoking can have on the health and the immune system of an individual, people do not seem to quit smoking. Smoking can weaken the immune system which can make an individual susceptible to a lot of diseases such as cancer or even ulcer. Smoking often becomes an addiction from a habit. It can weaken the lung capacity of an individual making it hard for him to breathe.

  • Alcohol:

  • A moderate amount of alcohol is said to be good. But, alcohol consumption can be very addictive. Alcohol can have a disastrous effect on the nerves, liver and kidneys of an individual. Too much consumption of alcohol has proved fatal to many individuals. It is not about drinking but it is about the excessive drinking that can harm the health of an individual.

  • Workaholics:

  • The other type of lifestyle or habit which can damage the health of a person is about being workaholics. There are a lot of people who tend to work excessively taking immense amount of stress on themselves. The relentless work people take upon themselves leaves hardly any time for them to sleep or to eat. This can have a long term damage on the health of an individual due to his carelessness and neglect.
