Why do men like to kiss more than women?
Body language is a language that is understood by everyone. Kissing as a type of body language has been argued to be liked by men more than women. There are several facts that back up this argument, but there is no solid proof that men like kissing more than women do.
Research has shown that even though many women love kissing, it is not in their nature to like it. This attitude might be because of hormones and genes in women. This agrees with the observation that men usually make the first move when kissing for the first time. What factors could be responsible for this preference of kissing in men?
Factors responsible for the love of kissing by men
Hormones: The male human is composed of strong hormones like testosterone, which is responsible for the easy exhibition of body language. Men are aroused easily; this could be responsible for their love for kissing.
Showing emotions: Most men try to exhibit their emotions to their partner by kissing. By kissing, a man feels he shows lots of emotions, such as happiness, desire, sensuality, and caring.
Caring attitude: Men kiss to show how much they care. It might be a kiss on the cheek or the hand, but most times, the intention is to show how much they care.
To establish bonds: Men use kissing to establish a bond with their partner. Men feel that once they kiss a woman, especially on the lips, there is a close bond established.
Pleasure: Most men see kissing as a way of experiencing pleasure. Many men kiss just for the sake of their desire to feel or experience pleasure.
Culture: Kissing means different things in different cultures. Some cultures express greetings or gestures by kissing either on the cheeks or lightly on the lips. An example is in the Arab world, where kissing twice on the cheeks shows a sign of greeting.
No matter what the reason is for kissing, men seem to like it more than women. Now whether there is enough evidence to prove that theory is another story.
